DAY 1 CAPE TOWN<\/h4>\n
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you proceed through passport control and collect your luggage. In the arrivals Hall you will be met by a company representative who will assist you to collect your hired car and take you through your itinerary and hand you over your information travel pack. Now you proceed to your Hotel in the trendy suburb of Sea Point.<\/p>\n

DAY 2 \u2013 DAY 4 CAPE TOWN<\/h4>\n
Explore the city of Cape Town with the Cape Peninsula, Cape Point, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Robben Island, Table Mountain to mention a few sights to visit.<\/p>\n
CAPE TOWN:<\/strong> In which ever way, the area of Cape Town in South Africa is one of the most beautiful and interesting to visit in the world…. Here, other than a fascinating city, with many historical points, museums, markets, restaurants along the sea, one can enjoy views of majestic mountains, rocky coastlines, golden beaches, magnificent gardens, excellent wines, and superior hotels, Cape Town is known for its very friendly people.
\nThe mountains surrounding the city have the most spectacular view points onto the coast and ocean below. Visit Cape Point, Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens, or Monkey World or Bird World in Hout Bay, or even visit the Butterfly farm on the wine route. An outing the the famous Winelands of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek is also recommended.
\nAs the Legislative Capital of South Africa, with over 2 million inhabitants, Cape Town is definitely the most vibrant city in South Africa. There are so many places to visit, such as the Castle of Good Hope, originally built between 1666 and 1679, and being the oldest building in South Africa, the Houses of Parliment, the Market Square, or the Company gardens, set out as the original gardens in 1652, The South African Planetarium (found at the top of Company Gardens) and the South African Museum hosts an incredible quantity of fossils as well as a gallery dedicated to whales, with a skeleton of over 20 meters of one of these majestic sea creatures.<\/p>\nOvernight: The Hyde Hotel, Sea Point on a Bed and Breakfast basis

Day 5 CAPE TOWN \/ MATJIESFONTEIN<\/h4>\n
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the Karoo. The journey from Cape Town takes us through the mountains to reach Worcester – the gateway to the Great Karoo. Continue through the magnificent Hex River Valley where you will enjoy spectacular scenery of mountains, vineyards and lush indigenous flora. You reach Matjiesfontein, a nostalgic Victorian village on the outskirts of the Great Karoo. This will be your stop for tonight.<\/p>\n

Day 6 MATJIESFONTEIN \/ OUDTSHOORN<\/h4>\n
After a hearty breakfast you proceed along the N1 passing through Laingsburg you turn away from the main road and head
\ntowards the Route 62 to reach Oudtshoorn. The town of Oudtshoorn are in the Klein Karoo between the Swartberg and Outeniqua mountains. Oudtshoorn is the ostrich capital of the world. The world’s biggest bird is just one of the many attractions in this area of exceptional contrasts and natural beauty. The region is home to the spectacular Cango Caves, Africa’s largest show cave system visits to the Cango Caves and the Ostrich Farm is a highlight of this area.<\/p>\n

Day 7 OUDTSHOORN \/ KNYSNA \/ PLETTENBERG BAY<\/h4>\n
This morning you depart Oudtshoorn and proceed over the Quteniqua Pass to the town of George and continue along the N2 freeway towards Knysna. Knysna Heads must be the most striking geological features along the entire southern African coastline. They flank a deep but potentially treacherous channel through which the sea pours in to flood the wide and breathtakingly pretty lagoon at the mouth of the Knysna River. Knysna is one of the Southern Cape coast’s best known holiday destinations, situated between lush forests and the shores of the peaceful lagoon. A lookout has been erected on the Eastern Head, commanding spectacular views of the lagoon, Leisure Isle and Knysna. The Western Head is a privately owned nature Reserve – Featherbed Bay. The Knysna Lagoon is one of the few places along the coast and in the world that supports a oyster hatchery. And the Knysna oysters are reputedly among the tastiest in the world. Millwood House Museum in Queen Street houses material relating to the history of the town, and includes artefacts once owned by George Rex. The Knysna Forest is the largest indigenous forest in South Africa comprising of tall and ancient trees of local and exotic species, including stinkwood, yellowwood, blackwood, ironwood, white alders and Cape chestnut. Not forgetting the ferns, creepers and wild flowers which add colour to this endless green collage. Home to the once great herds of Knysna Elephants, it is believed that only one lonely cow remains today.<\/p>\n

DAY 8 & 9 KNYSNA\/PLETTENBERG BAY<\/h4>\n
Explore the surrounding area of Plettenberg Bay and Tsitsikamma Forest. A visit to the Birds of Eden, Monkeyland and Jukani Sanctuary and the Knysna Elephant Park is also a highlight of this area. Exploring Knsyna itself with its Oyster beds, the Waterfront and the various boat trips ( a day trip to the Featherbed Reserve is also a highlight) on offer is also a good option.<\/p>\n

DAY 10 PORT ELIZABETH\/PRIVATE GAME RESERVE<\/h4>\n
Breakfast at the hotel and depart along the N2 freeway and head towards Gqeberha ( Port Elizabeth) and
\nMakhanda)Grahamstown). You will find your Private Game Reserve\u2019s entrance situated along this route. Arrive at the
\nLodge in time for lunch followed in by check-in. Relax until mid afternoon and meet for refreshments before heading out on
\nyour afternoon\/evening game drive in open landrovers. Dress warmly as after sun-set it can be quite chilly on the back on
\nthe landrover. Stopping for refreshments (own account) for sun-set. Return to the lodge and freshen-up before dinner at
\nthe lodge.<\/p>\n

DAY 10 & 11 PRIVATE GAME RESERVE<\/h4>\n
The next two days will be spent on safari activities on the private Game Reserve with early morning wake-up and refreshments before heading out on your morning game drive stopping en-route for refreshments.
\nOne returns to the lodge to freshen-up before breakfast at the lodge. Relax at the lodge and lunch at the lodge.
\nIn the mid afternoon meet for refreshments before heading out on your afternoon\/evening game drive in open landrovers.
\nDress warmly as after sun-set it can be quite chilly on the back on the landrover. Stopping for refreshments (own account)
\nfor sun-set. Return to the lodge and freshen-up before dinner at the lodge.<\/p>\n

This morning enjoy breakfast at the Lodge before departing for Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) Airport for your flight out to
\neither Johannesburg or Cape Town. Flights should be booked for not before 12h00 to give to enough time to get from the
\nPrivate Game Reserve to the Airport. Your return your hire car and check-in for your flight.<\/p>\n<\/div>
